Richard S. DiPreta, Esq. is a graduate of Trinity College, the University of Connecticut School of Law and the University of Connecticut School of Business and is a native of Greenwich, Connecticut. Mr. DiPreta is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut. Before establishing his own practice in 2005, Mr. DiPreta practiced with the Individual Clients Department at Robinson & Cole LLP in their Greenwich office and with the Trusts & Estates Department at Pullman & Comley LLC in their Southport office.
He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Estates & Probate Section. He was on the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section from 1998 to 2006, holding the position of Chair of the Estates & Probate Committee. Mr. DiPreta served on the Connecticut Bar Association’s Task Force on the Future of the Probate Court System to review the viability of Connecticut’s probate court system in 2002. Mr. DiPreta is a member of the Greenwich Bar Association and served as its President from 2007 to 2008. Mr. DiPreta also served as the Chair of the American Bar Association's Real Property, Probate & Trust Section of the Young Lawyers Division from 2002 to 2005.
Since 2002, Mr. DiPreta has been on the Board of the Parsonage Cottage Home for the Aged Board in Greenwich and has served as its Chair since 2005. He has also been a Board Member of the Greenwich Old Timers Athletic Association since 2001. He served on the Representative Town Meeting, Greenwich’s legislative body, from 2002 to 2010, as the representative on the Legislative & Rules Committee. He is also a member of the Greenwich Republican Town Committee, most recently serving in the role of District 12 Leader.
Cynthia Andrews DiPreta, Esq. is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and the Quinnipiac College School of law and is also native of Greenwich, Connecticut. Ms. DiPreta is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut and the State of New York. Before joining The DiPreta Law Firm LLP in 2013, Ms. DiPreta practiced for 14 years with Ryan Ryan Deluca LLP, an insurance defense firm located in Stamford, Connecticut. She ascended to the position of Counsel in 2008. While at Ryan Ryan Deluca, she worked in the firm's Personal Lines department defending civil lawsuits brought against companies including Toys "R" Us and on behalf of the insureds of numerous insurance companies, most notably for United Services Automobile Association. At Ryan Ryan Deluca, she tried numerous cases to juries and to arbitrators. In 2004, Ms. DiPreta was awarded the New Leaders in the Law Overall Achievement Award by the Connecticut Law Tribune.
Ms. DiPreta was Co-Chair the Young Lawyers Section of the Fairfield County Bar Association from 2001 to 2003; was Co-Chair of Fairfield County Bar Association's Law Day in 2004; and served on the Executive Board of the Fairfield County Bar Association from 2008 to 2012. Ms. DiPreta was also on the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section from 2001 to 2008, holding the position of Chair of the Litigation Committee from 2002 to 2004; Chair of the Stamford/Norwalk Local Unit from 2004 to 2006; and ABA District 2 Liaison from 2006 to 2008. Ms. DiPreta has also been an active member of the Junior League of Greenwich since 2001. She sat on the Junior League's Executive Board as Program Administrator from 2007 to 2009. She is also a member of the Community and Police Partnership for the Town of Greenwich.
